Forest Folklore

Blythecon Europe is held in Paris this coming weekend,
and here is a preview of some of the items from my Forest Folklore collection.






Along with my usual Folklore dress sets, it will also include a new "Page Playsuit" set with embroidered V front neckline and poet sleeves, a cape set which can be mixed and matched with all the other items, and some purses...for Blythe, Dal and JerryBerry dolls. The tiny ones are not forgotten, Middie Blythe and Secretdoll sets will also be available.







This time the faux sheepskin waistcoat features felted wool pompoms instead of pearls...

... and the dress sets will come in many new colours !
These dresses are made with shot cotton, which is a wonderful fabric woven with two different threads, creating a very interesting iridescent look.




         


I have been working on a new purse which I am very happy to present, the tiny skunk purse !
You can comb the hair and make it all wild and punky if you want.
Both the fox and the skunk purse feature the new flower "clasp" :-)
These are entirely handmade and all the pieces are sewed together, there is absolutely no glue whatsoever !

Last but not least and modelled by Stellie, the maxi dress set (made with the same shot cotton fabric),
includes a multicoloured flower headband to be the queen of the Forest :-)

Forest Folklore

This collection is inspired from the folklore style so popular in the late 60's and 70's, as well as the mysterious charms of the Forest.

           

Made of mauve corduroy, the short jumpsuit features a belt with a large brass flower buckle as well as two tiny flower buttons at the back. 

A pair of knee high socks made of a delicate ivory knit and a headband with multicoloured velvety flowers complete this set. 

The folklore dresses as well as the short jumpsuits are fully zigzaged and fasten with snaps. 

All these sets will fit Takara Blythe and Licca bodies.

         

The folklore dress is made of three different fabrics: a corduroy bodice with a garland of hand embroidered multicoloured flowers and leaves, lightweight ivory gauze sleeves, and one of my favourite fabrics : shot cotton. It is woven with two different colours, creating an iridescent look. 

I designed these dresses for the first time a few years ago and I have been dying to make more of them.

Paired with a faux sheepskin waistcoat for a cool look or chilly nights. Or both :-)

         

To keep warm, this last set for Blythe sized dolls includes a black fleece cape with hazelnut faux fur collar, ivory topstitch and cord ties ending with hand felted wool pompoms matching the collar, an ivory crocheted hat and a pink wool flower which can be used as a hair or hat pin.

The tiny bear purse is the perfect companion to wander through the Forest, even the deepest one !  

Featuring a tiny brass flower/crown clasp and a brass handle.

           

Designed for Middie Blythes and Secretdolls, this set includes matching items only tinier: 

a crocheted hat, a mini folklore dress paired with a faux sheepskin waistcoat and a teeny-tiny bear purse.

"Wild at Heart" Patchwork Princess set

It has been a while since my last Patchwork Princess set !

This special boxed set from the "Wild at Heart" collection is inspired by the love of nature, forest and wild animals.

It is listed on Ebay for 3 days.

The outfit includes : 

              

- a hazelnut brown lightweight corduroy bell bottom jumpsuit,

- a peach pink sateen cotton blouse with Juliet sleeves,

- a mint green knitted mohair wool coat which fastens with ties ending with felted pompoms (it can be worn over the blouse :-)

- an ivory crocheted hat,

- a wool flower hair or hat pin,

as well as 

- a necklace with a vintage glass flower...

        

...and of course

- a patchwork princess bag: fully functional and lined, the shoulder strap length is adjustable.

This is real miniature patchwork !

All the clothes and accessories are entirely designed and handmade by me.

They will fit Licca and Takara Blythe bodies :-)

Rosewood Lane, boxed set for Blythecon UK 2013

This year Blythecon UK will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 5th.

I have made a special set "Rosewood Lane" as a donation for the raffle, and this time all the money raised will be helping 

Guide Dogs UK & Yorkhill Children's Foundation.

This boxed set includes a tagged rosewood pink double breasted boiled wool coat with rhinestone buttons, an ivory knitted mohair hat, a pair of green socks and a flower hair pin made of vintage flowers featuring a matching rhinestone heart. 

The coat fastens with tiny snaps and has the usual half belt at the back.

Aurore Boréale, Blythecon Barcelona special set

Aurore Boréale 

This boxed set for Blythe dolls is composed of a tagged double-breasted boiled wool coat in ivory, a pair of mint green socks, a tiny pink purse and a matching bobby pin made with vintage flowers. The coat buttons, the purse and flower hairpin feature AB (Aurora Borealis) rhinestones with antique silver settings, just like the colour of the purse handle.

Specially made as a donation for the raffle organised by Blythecon Barcelona, 

which will take place on April 20th.
All the benefits from this raffle will go to the Protection Ligue Of Animals And Plants Of Barcelona.
