Wild At Heart

Wild At Heart

It is that time of the year when the Enchanted Dreamland is fully covered with glittery snow.
But this year we will explore a wider part of the land, hence the name of this collection,
Wild At Heart.

Inspired by the love of nature, forest and wild animals (this time especially foxes!), it is composed of several sets which can all be mixed and matched.
I have worked with earthy tones and soft colours, as well as my favourite fabrics and materials.

All of the clothes (from the felted pompoms or flower hairpin down to the socks) and accessories (like the beaded necklace and headband as well as the little fox purse) are entirely handmade and designed by me.

Wild At Heart

This collection will be available at the French Blythecon Le Jour B,
but a couple of pieces may be remade for those who cannot attend the event.

As usual a click on a picture will redirect you to a larger size version.

The short babydoll dress with an empire waist and puff sleeves is made of a beautiful lightweight sateen cotton in dusky pink.
It fastens at the back with a snap and by tying the little belt which is made of braided cotton threads that I slightly tea dyed.
The headband with a double row of "cream caramel" Czech faceted glass beads is elastic and features two velvet daisies with pink Swarovski rhinestones on each side.
The necklace is made of a tiny brass chain with a vintage glass flower bead
and the knee high socks are made of a very delicate ivory knit fabric.

The jumper shorts, made of hazelnut corduroy are paired with a verdigris sateen cotton blouse with Juliet sleeves. Both items fasten at the back with snaps adorned with tiny brass flowers.
This set also includes a tiny faux fur collar (fastening with a pink bow) as well as a pair of knee high socks.

The little pink roll neck jumper with pagoda sleeves is made of knitted Kid Mohair yarn which is worn on a short chestnut brown corduroy skirt, fully zigzagged and a pair of cream tights.
The long necklace is made of brass chain with various and multicoloured beads, each of them assembled one by one.

The knitted hat in this last set is made of sky blue silk & cashmere yarn.
The brown mohair and lurex "pompom" flower can be worn as a hair or hat pin.
The cape is made of dark brown fleece and features a faux fur collar as well as a caramel cord tie ending with felted wool pompoms.
Last but not least, Little Fox purse is made of pure felt wool and features a rhinestone button in a golden setting and a brass handle.

All items fasten with a snap, are fully zigzagged whenever possible or at least fray checked.
They all fit Blythe Takara and Licca bodies.

"Dandelion Dance" Boiled Wool Coats

Stella agreed to model a new collection of coats I've been working on lately. They are made of boiled wool and are double-breasted with a half-belt at the back, just like the previous Licorice coats but this time they are (faux)fur-trimmed and feature wooden buttons.
